Archives


Te Awamutu Museum is the only approved archival repository within the Waikato region. Our archival material includes historic photographs, maps, pamphlets, registers and letters, many of which relate to the development and history of the area. The archival collections are complemented by a substantial collection of library books and journals.

Schedule of charges for researchers
 
Onsite

Visiting researchers who have made prior appointments with the Archivist are entitled to ½ hour of one-on-one assistance at no cost, and $30 per hour thereafter. Any photocopying charges or costs relating to photographic reproduction services are extra.

NB: Where a prior appointment has not been made with the Archives Assistant, the level of assistance we can offer is solely dependent upon staff availability. Such enquiries may then be considered written enquiries if staffing levels are insufficient to provide immediate assistance.

 
Distance/written enquiries
Written enquiries are undertaken at a rate of $30 per hour. Any photocopying charges and/or costs relating to photographic reproductions are extra.
 

Photocopying charges
A4 = 20c per copy A3 = 40c per copy
Please consult the Archives Assistant for charges relating to colour photocopies or photographic reproductions.
